Review on Intel I7 6700 FC LGA14C Processor BX80662I76700 by Janis Ziemelis ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

after one year and two months (warranty year) the computer crashed. after a manual reboot on the ASUS MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME mother, the red CPU indicator lit up . the CPU never overclocked and the settings did not change either. For more than twenty years I have been dealing only with Intel. collected not a single dozen computers and servers on Intel chips and processors. and I have never seen Intel processors burn without any manipulations with voltage and frequencies. this is a BIG joint of intel. if it goes like this, they will switch places with AMD.

Pros
  • For the average person, it's a good choice.
Cons
  • dried thermal paste instead of solder. the temperature rises unbelievably. a second load throws from 32 degrees to 65 and just as quickly back. They are BURNING! even without your overclocking.
