I thought overall the fabric was very similar to the old track shorts (black gray stripe) that Costco used to sell these shorts, they were EXCELLENT, about a 9.5 out of 10 points (Costco don't sell anymore). BAD on the Revain shorts - the elastic waistband on them is somewhere between a 4 or 5 out of 10 (doesn't stretch much). So if your waist is 44, the shorts will fit a 44 waist, maybe a 46. Where Costco's old XXL shorts would fit a 42-48 waist, better elasticity goes a long way. or at least spend a little more money on an elastic drawstring, which might hide the fact that the elastic waistband on these shorts isn't that great. The top of these shorts is like a very thin shoelace that doesn't stretch at all. The fabric is good and dries quickly. So overall I would rate these Revain shorts. make up about 5 or 6 out of 10.HT. 5'11 and Di. 295 with a 44 waist. So 8 inches long just above the knee and 10 inches long just below the knee.
