Review on πŸƒ Stackable Coasters Set of 4, Kamenstein Natural Acacia Wood and Cork Coasters by Cool Martin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Mediocre quality, unbalanced, non-absorbent

First, as many have said, they only have 3 felt pads on the bottom. They are unstable and easily knocked over. Since I already ordered them and I hate returns and really wanted something with wood texture/colour I decided to keep them. I had to add additional felt pads to make them usable. First I tried adding 3 identical pads and it improved the balance a lot. For the other one I just used a round felt pad and it really does the trick. As others have said, it's pretty easy. I don't know if it's wood or plastic, but either way it's a lot lighter than my other wooden coasters. In addition, cork does not absorb moisture. After a glass of ice water I can turn the coaster upside down and quite a bit of condensation pours out of it. Aside from that and the fact that it's lightweight, glasses can easily stick to it. I suspect they will mold or spoil soon. Also, you have to be careful when lifting if you don't want the stand to fit, essentially picking it up in a peeling/wiggling motion. If they cost $5-8 and had pads to match, this would be a smart buy. Otherwise. I would look elsewhere. It obviously has many fake reviews to get such a high rating.
