Review on Govee Dimmable Equivalent Assistant Decorative: Revolutionize Your Smart Home Lighting! by Nathan Webber

Great bulbs, but white colors over Google Home aren't great.

I love inexpensive RGB lights that are compatible with Google Home and Assistant. The Govee app is great and the Google Assistant/Home integration is great, but there's a problem: you can get a nice range of white and all other colors, but Google's preset whites don't pair well with Govee bulbs. Light white from Google is actually light blue. Soft white light pink. White - light lavender. If you go into the Govee app and set them to soft, bright or regular white they look amazing, but if you didn't know you can customize them through the app you will regret your purchase. The problem is if I ask google to set my lights to a specific color, once I want them to be white again I have to open the app and change them back, or deal with painful white, the blue light one, or pink is filled. painted white. If you leave them the white color set in the Govee app, they'll remember that color and using Google to toggle them on and off or change the brightness is never a problem. In general? If you don't mind going into the app for pretty whites, if you want to go back to other colors (or don't use a lot of other colors like I do), these bulbs are great.

Pros
  • timer and schedule. Integrating Alexa lightbulbs into your daily routine is now easier than ever. In modes like sunrise or sunset, you can set the colored light to either brighten until you wake up or fade out until you fall asleep.
Cons
  • Very expensive
