Average view. The speakers I have are 6.5 inches and they barely fit in the cavernous hole. It would be great if I wanted to put something bigger in place of the factory speakers, but here I had to take a few extra steps to get the speaker to sit in place and provide good sound reproduction. Materials - low-quality plastic. There's no internal amplification, so it definitely doesn't meet the same specs as what I pulled out. It aligns the speaker and elevates it into the same alignment as the factory speakers, allowing you to use more material to get a good match with the door. Otherwise I'd recommend making your own out of MDF if you have the tools and skills (and time).
