I use the same sponge I bought 6 months ago and it still works! These sponges may lose volume and become flat like a pancake, but they still work. They have NOT ripped me off in 6 months but they might run out soon (including time to use a second one). These sponges have some cleaning power, but they're not the equivalent of a brush (if that's what you're looking for). They are very good for cleaning non-stick pans and will not damage your food. I washed these sponges in both the washer and dryer before shaping them. I've been using them EVERY day at least 3 times a day for the past 6 months, so they're pretty strong to last that long. I WANT and will order more in the future. Good product.
