China is still involved no matter how many times the marketing says 'Swedish'

I bought this product because it was advertised as 'Made in Europe'. The marketing on their website says "European made - don't settle for low quality Chinese alternatives!" They don't say exactly where in Europe, but the excessive use of the word 'Swedish' certainly leads you to believe that they are from Sweden. Anyhow, I am willing to shop in all European countries because they all have high labor standards (no slaves and/or children), pay decent wages, place great emphasis on sustainability and maintain high standards to protect the health and well-being of the people Consumer . To my surprise, the package that arrived was marked 'Made in Europe'. Packed in China. The?!?! How can a product that has been shipped halfway around the world be packed in an "eco-friendly" plastic bag as advertised on your website? Can't you put rags in a plastic bag where they are produced for less money than sending them to the other side of the planet, not to mention the environmental cost? These tea towels are not cheap. A higher price is fine because I'm happy to pay significantly more to shop in a country with fair and trustworthy business practices. But I can feel in my stomach that something is not up to par here. The fact that China is involved in any way saddens me deeply because I was specifically looking for a product that doesn't use Chinese. So now I've closed the deal with China, but at European prices. Not good! Not good at all!
