UPDATED 1/17/19***** I've changed my rating to 1 star because after 8 months of MINIMUM USE (3 times or less per week) the coating on the inside is failing The Clip started to peel off exposing the hot METAL which started frying my hair. I'm so upset because their guarantee requires you to spend money to ship them to them and then you have to give them your CC info to have them ship it back to you in 30-45 days! Ridiculous for a DEFECTIVE curling iron that costs a lot of money. I'll try the Mr. Large and see how they go for 1/3 the price! First Rating, 4 Stars: Not sure if I love these curling irons or not yet. I have very thin fine hair with extra extensions and need a firm curler to keep my hair in place when curling. Even with my hair extensions my hair could slip through but I managed to work with it and so far I'm happy with the results. I curled 280 degrees and the iron seemed to heat up evenly. I like the extra length of the shaft, which is also suitable for long hair. I prefer loose waves and the photos were taken two hours after styling. I'm happy with the result.
