Very good iron, heats up quickly and works well. I will say that my curls don't hold very well with this straightener. I have over 10 curling irons and I have a particular one that comes in 2 widths and I don't reach for it very often for that reason. I like this one for the long run which many irons don't have! When my hair grows back (it's shoulder length now) I'll probably use it a lot more for that reason.

UPDATED 1/17/19***** I've changed my rating to 1 star because after 8 months of MINIMUM USE (3 times or less per week) the coating on the inside is failing The Clip started to peel off exposing the hot METAL which started frying my hair. I'm so upset because their guarantee requires you to spend money to ship them to them and then you have to give them your CC info to have them ship it back to you in 30-45 days! Ridiculous for a DEFECTIVE curling iron that costs a lot of money. I'll try the Mr.

I saw my new hairstylist use this style and it eliminated my long, thick, bulky hair very quickly! I asked her what kind of hair it was because no one has ever had their hair done that fast! She told me and I had to buy it! It used to take me an hour to do my hair. Watch me 15 minutes! do my hair with this flat iron! My other hair straightener is also professional and very expensive, but it works much better! I wish I had known this a long time ago :/ I love it!

I think this thing would work fabulous and fast if it just stayed that way. After only 2, maybe 3 curls it turns off and needs to be turned back on and reheated. It curls great and I love it, but it's not fun to turn it on 4 or 5 times before I'm done curling. I have requested a replacement and will update my review after trying a different one.

Good curling iron, does not catch or pull hair, has good heat lock and long shaft. But this isn't a game changer or life changer for curling irons. Personally, I use Protector with the right copolymers and I still get split ends at the same rate as any other straightener (unlike the Ionic study), if not more, and my curls are short-lived. how long and my hair holds the curl very well, like a curl just by twisting my finger well. I think it's better to save $100 and use the reliable Hot Tool…

I'm a hairdresser and this curling iron costs a penny. If you want those long beachy curls but don't want to spend a lot of time curling your hair, just buy these. Adjustable temperature for all hair types, temperature setting lock so you don't slip and turn off the iron while curling. It glides easily through my hair but has enough hold to keep the ends from slipping out. Always use good thermal protection. The curls last for days!

The hardware is not working. When I press the power button, it flashes and immediately turns off. When I press the button to set the temperature, it turns off. If I follow the instructions to force the temperature to "lock" and leave it on, it immediately turns off. So extremely annoying. Will have to return. My sister has the same iron and had no such problems. Unfortunately. I'm not sure if they sold me a refurbished product but it does NOT work.
