This hose is the perfect replacement for our Grohe Ladylux kitchen faucet. You simply screw the wide end into an Original Grohe hand shower, insert the hose into the open end of the faucet, and then under the sink screw the other end of the hose into the Grohe quick connector end. It should still be there from the previous installation, you don't need to buy another one. If you have already removed the quick connector, you can connect it to the water supply by simply pulling back the yellow sliding sleeve, inserting the black connector into the water supply and disconnecting the sleeve. It's a simple connection, no tools required, everything is hand tightened. I had no leaks after turning the water back on. I did not install the internal spring that came with the original faucet. I suggest replacing the spring with a weight. It's simpler and fairly foolproof. I bought a $9.27 Peerless RP63207 Classic Hose Weight from Revain and it works great. It's just a lead weight. There are others, you could probably use any of them. The weight is pressed against the hose under the sink, and gravity pulls the hose in when you release it. Voila!
