pine trees grow on the south side of my house and pine trees draw moisture, not to mention that there is no sun on that side. So my house is very humid. I've bought small dehumidifiers that work well, but constantly emptying their small tanks quickly becomes tedious. Decided to move to the whole house. I really made the right choice! This unit has a huge tank BUT also has a continuous drain hose! Game over! There is no longer any need to drain water. Crazy what am I supposed to do with the time I wasted going to the sink twice a day to drain the water? This thing was easy to set up and make sure you leave it upright for 2 hours after installing the roller wheels. The first 3 hours of running I could feel the difference in the air. Cooler and fresher. I can't wait to see the difference in my allergies too! Mold is one of my allergy triggers. There's also a drying function - most of my work clothes need to be air dried and that worked well. I just hung my clothes on the shower rod and DRIED in an hour! The control panel is easy to use and read. Clearly marked and the instructions are very clear. Be sure to read them for important information - very important. Great all round product for the money!
