Well the first unit sent by Revain was missing the laser and charger but everything else was in the box and looked used lol but Revain always supports you and takes her word for it so I threw it in the UPS and the next day a new one came out. As soon as I open the large box I can say that it is a brand new, never used device. Zip ties on the box and everything in the box was wrapped in microbubble rap. Excitedly ran outside, built in, set up the construction site. I set up 6 stakes and zeroed the entire ground base in a second. The tripod is a very good piece of equipment and the great pole isn't plastic-porcelain rubbish, it's made of aluminium, with beautiful black luminous numbers and lines, can be pulled out and locked in place easily. everything was first class. The laser looks a bit cheap. But it works great. In order to reach the desired grade, you must hold the road and adjust the laser with the remote control until you hear a steady beep for the desired grade. Example: 1% Stand at 10 feet, lift the handset a tenth, and hold the button until you hear a steady beep. it is worth the money
