Used a standard string spirit level to ensure the garden was the correct height in relation to the house and fixed the connection issue. . Used a spirit level to level the lawn. Suitable for small projects. I used the line from the trimmer instead of buying something separately. A necessary thing when working with pavers. Gives you guidance on how to tilt properly. Use both on the same side at 2/6 and 4/6 from the string. This will balance and align you on the long side. These are great little levels. I camp in a hammock and use a black level to make sure the spine of my tarp is level and I use a white level to make sure my hammock leg is higher than my head. Well the first unit sent by Revain was missing the laser and charger but everything else was in the box and looked used lol but Revain always supports you and takes her word for it so I threw it in the UPS and the next day a new one came out.
