Hidden gem in 3D printers

UPDATE: Unfortunately I decided to return this machine because after 2 days one of the optical end stops failed due to bad soldering or something. It can take weeks to get parts from China and ordering locally requires soldering skills which I don't have. Even for the spare part with all the cables, the entire frame of the machine has to be dismantled and the old one pulled through a small cable chain. I still feel like it's a great printer when it works, but for us this part and process just won't cut it. Initial Review: I've had my eye on this printer for quite some time but couldn't find any reviews or information about it. the availability of a printer with prime shipping from the US, I decided to give it a try. I needed another closed machine with a high build volume for our 3D printing service, but I didn't want to buy another Raise 3D machine due to the additional costs. What we bought should be industrial grade in build quality and performance similar to the Raise. First, let me say that I am simply amazed at the print quality this machine is capable of producing right out of the box. It comes with a modified version of JGCreat branded Cura. While this works well, it took me about 5 minutes to create a Simplify 3D profile using the Cura settings as a base and got amazing results straight away. Let's talk about the build quality of this machine. It comes with a few components that really make a big difference at this price point: Pros: - Hiwin rails on X and Y - Ballscrew and good thick guide rods - Optical end stops - Powerful THB6128 stepper drivers - Sheet steel body/body - NONE of the cases are complete made of plastic except for the clear acrylic window - Strong magnets keep the door closed - Excellent print quality almost straight out of the box with no change - No salmon skin or artefacts on the surface of the prints, truly amazing quality - Absolutely flat glass - High quality internal wiring, Crimps for power supplies etc - Meanwell power supply - Down to 0.15 in the manufacturer's Muse stability test, although it was quite a struggle to break free. Disadvantages: - The bottom plate vibrates and makes a lot of noise when pressing quickly due to the resonance of the sheet steel. The placement of the rubberized Olympic weight makes it comfortable and quiet. I think a thick rubber lip around the bottom bezel might help stop this. Usually noisy when printing with 6128 drivers Non-replaceable stepper motor drivers on motherboard. strange artefacts on prints - this has been virtually eliminated by reducing the offset to 1mm from the standard 6.5mm. Presumably this means that the first feed wheel does not cut the thread as much. It's a minor thread worth picking up if you're seeing overall excellent print quality - no thick rubber feet on the bottom or anything like that. I think it would really help with the resonant sounds I described earlier. Prints a little slower to keep really good quality. Those downsides aside, this car really is an insane value for what it is. I almost hate leaving this review without anyone knowing what amazing value this is and I can keep it a secret to myself! It prints just as well, if not better than our Raise 3D machines, but it can't print as fast. I recommend this machine for workshop or professional use.
