Many Bluetooth devices are not compatible with Linux because they do not switch correctly between A2DP and HFP/HSP modes, but this works fine. In Ubuntu Linux, the audio profile is simply selected using the standard Bluetooth management tool. The headset also works well with Android 11. The microphone's audio quality is decent, but like any headset in this form factor, it's not as good as the standard microphone, which is placed near your mouth. That's more than enough for phone calls and Zoom. The cVc 8.0 noise reduction seems to be helping, but it's hard to measure just how much. It's worth noting that the physical range seems to be almost double what I expected, and I was able to reliably walk 50m from my laptop and even into other rooms. when receiving a continuous audio stream from my computer. This may be the result of a robust Bluetooth 5.0 implementation, but it works.
