I have this thing to mount a Webboost OTR antenna on the back of my camper van. I only use the antenna when the rig is stopped so I wanted it to be collapsible for travel. .The material is very thin, so thin that I had to use a thick washer just to install the spring for my antenna. The plastic knob that adjusts the angle is made of very brittle plastic. It has since been replaced with a metal thumbscrew and wing nut to support it. I also used a wing washer and a large neoprene washer just to make sure it wouldn't move when I didn't want it to. I knew what I was getting when I got this and for my use it will be fine, if you have a bigger or heavier antenna ditch this thing.
