    Poor design of accessories and consumables

    Perhaps one of the worst designs. I bought these to mount on my back, they fit perfectly but the swivel never tightens, tried 2 sets, just poor design apparently. Only the weight of the antenna makes it move

    This antenna mount has worked great for me. I have a cell phone booster and the antenna would prevent me from parking in the garage and parking garages. Now I can fold it with a twist of the handle.

    Poor build quality and not stable.

    The product is quite cheap. Part of the thread on a bolt was stretched and the nut would not thread properly. The 2-bolt hinge is almost impossible to stand on its own and can be rotated by hand with very little effort, not to mention holding the antenna.

    Pleasantly surprised

    I tried a more expensive "branded" antenna mount and it wasn't as well designed as I thought it would be. Although this one is slightly larger, it is more flexible to install and works better with my thicker antenna base. I'll take a few more before they realize they can charge more for them.

    Can't handle speed.

    This is a useful feature if you don't want the antenna to be on all the time. However, I forgot to put it on on my last ride and the penultimate turn point doesn't take 75 mph. It didn't break, just slowly sinking down. I tightened the bolts and added a nut on the other side. It would probably be better if they were molded into locking grooves. Antenna mxta26 installed.

    Not *quite* 90 degrees

    The knob on this mount allows you to tilt the antenna down, but only 75 degrees from vertical. There is a "dimple" on one half that fits snugly against a series of holes on the part that holds the UHF connector and there just aren't enough holes in the rotating bit to allow it to go all the way down into the Horizontal can fall from vertical. job title.     Great foldable mount

    I needed a foldable antenna mount so I could drive the car into the garage. I put an NMO mount connector on it and had to open a hole to accommodate the NMO connector. I also added a Panavise magnet to the base of the mount so it's also a magnetic mount and I can take it off at any time. Now I can use the 5/8 wave antenna at 2 meters and enjoy the extra gain of the antenna. If you have a garage, it's best to use fooover with modern antennas.

    I have this thing to mount a Webboost OTR antenna on the back of my camper van. I only use the antenna when the rig is stopped so I wanted it to be collapsible for travel. .The material is very thin, so thin that I had to use a thick washer just to install the spring for my antenna. The plastic knob that adjusts the angle is made of very brittle plastic. It has since been replaced with a metal thumbscrew and wing nut to support it. I also used a wing washer and a large neoprene washer just to…

    Good concept, poorly designed and executed

    Well I'll try it and see what happens. The sheet metal is too thin to withstand strong vibrations or loads. Once the antenna is on the mount (and mine is only 10 inches tall) the mount flexes and vibrates. The vertical pan adjustment screw is simply tightened with two small screws and you can move it - even when it's tight!
