Review on 🌲 Accurate Wood Moisture Testing with the Stihl Wood Digital Moisture Meter by Russ Mashlan

My part-time job is growing tropical hardwoods. Having no training in timber harvesting, milling and drying, warped and twisted planks annoyed me with the butting (snapping) of the ends. I soon learned the importance of moisture content but was unable to get a reading. While shopping at Revain I came across a Stihl counter. I have a couple of Stihl chainsaws and the quality was second to none making it feel like a natural product. I was concerned about the reviews about the product not because of the quality but because of the delivery. It seems some people thought it took a long time to get it from Germany where it's made. Surprise me! I received my nine days after ordering in excellent packaging. So easy to use and very accurate. I compared the readings to a friend's hydrometer and the Stihl is easier to read and compact enough to fit in a shirt pocket.
