I bought this lamp to replace another toilet lamp I had. The other light was battery operated and the batteries didn't last very long. The light will stop working before the batteries are completely dead, so I'll have lots of used batteries that are still useful for a few other things. The light eventually went out and I decided to try this one since it's rechargeable. That was great. It works very well, has many color and brightness options, and the battery only needs to be charged every few months. It's great to have at night when you need to see but don't want to turn on bright lights when you're half asleep or trying to get ready for bed. I've had it for about a year now and it's still working. UPDATE (8-30-20): Still working with no issues. UPDATE (1-3-21): Still works.
