Review on DisplayPort To HDMI Adapter by Bennie Wilks

I bought this to use for a dual monitor setup, my computer only has 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. After 2 months, the monitor connected via the adapter suddenly lost input, but my second monitor said that the first monitor was still connected. When I checked the cables, the adapter was too hot to touch and there was a smell of burnt plastic coming from the case. So one adapter ran out and I'm using the second now. It's good that there are two of these in the kit, I'm curious to see how long this one lasts. This is for the PC I use for 3D printing, so it's usually on most of the time. The display went to sleep after 30 minutes, never had a problem before when I was just using HDMI.
