The description on the website says this model has a 1.3 gallon tank, but it's only 0.8 gallons. And even that, in my opinion, is very small. Do the math: If the device removes 30 pt/day, it will fill that 0.8 gallon (6.4 pt) tank in just over 5 hours. You need to empty it almost 5 times a day to reach the full capacity of 30pt/day. Another note on this model: the bin didn't slide in and out as easily as it did on my old Ivation dehumidifier; it binds both ways which is really annoying when you do it 5 times a day. In my opinion, this device is only suitable for users who are planning continuous hose drainage. For me, a small tank is an eye-catcher; I sent the device back.
