This is a solid and well made item. Everything is thick, durable and well made. All hanging hardware is amazing. Then why did I give 2 stars? I have a mountain bike. I have wide tires. These hooks don't even go half as wide as my rims. It doesn't really matter on my own because I have wide wheels. My 5 year old has a Giant Animator 16" and my 9 year old has a Giant XTC Junior 20". Both bikes barely fit in the hooks and hooking in either bike is difficult. We have 6 bikes in the garage and all of the bikes are difficult or impossible to hook up. This is a dumb problem because extending hooks doesn't change integrity in any way. I just don't understand the solution here. I see it's only good for road bikes and that's it.
