I like the duvet. It feels soft and light to me. Good for a big bed. Looks fluffy on the bed. My young son enjoys this set without any complaints. However, I don't care about the foil. They just feel weird. Soft but in the spirit of a cheap hotel shower curtain. I'm just a fresh cotton sheet girl and I can't handle this microfiber fabric. I've washed the sheets twice so far and they seem to be holding up very well. In general I'm happy. I would just be happier with cotton. Update: More than a year and a half later, this set works great. After numerous washes, the duvet and sheets will look like new. Colors are still vibrant, filling lays flat and will NOT roll onto fabric. great set
