Bought this kit for a Suzuki motorcycle exhaust system. I originally had the 2" width before one bought a few years ago. It's time to update the fiberglass. After trying the 1" wider fiberglass, it was easier to install. While it looks and works well, it was very difficult to install due to a lot of dust and loose threads coming from the rap. After doing more testing, posted I find that coating the exhaust pipe with silicone spray and then soaking the rape in warm water for 30 minutes helps reduce dust and helps stretch to apply the film.When dry, it shrinks well.Just pull Wear gloves and unless you get the mask wet, the fiberglass will irritate your skin if exposed.
