Review on Hurtta Torrent Coat Raincoat Cherry by Paul Curington

This raincoat is not cheap. But it's worth at least twice its price. The materials used are clearly just as first-class as the workmanship at the highest level. I tip my hat and also say hello to the designers at Hurtta. Where we are with the dog is rainy season. It rains every day and will continue to do so until late March/early April. The rain can be so heavy that visibility is limited to 80 to 120 metres/yards. In addition, you only see a gray wall. As I walk my dog every day, rain or shine, a raincoat is of the utmost importance for her exercise, keeping most of her body dry while allowing her more freedom of movement. This coat is perfect for all needs. The raincoat is particularly suitable for dogs who like to indulge in intensive outdoor activities in all weathers. For this reason, the material that covers the dog's body consists of three layers that make it (raincoat) waterproof and breathable at the same time. Note, however, that it may not be fully suitable for sub-zero temperatures. In this situation, the Hurtta Pet Collection Summit Parka or Hurtta Ultimate Warmer is your best bet. It doesn't show in the picture, but the part that covers the neck actually has two adjustments, one at the base of the neck and one at the top. This means that our dog's neck will not be covered with water or snow. And of course the wind will not blow on it. The edges of the chest plate/lid is a feature that impresses me. They are soft elastic. This means that our dog does not feel any discomfort in the parts of the chest and abdomen that come into contact with the edges. The strap (which is of course in two parts) from this chest plate wraps around the top plate and fastens. with side plastic buckle. Even during intense activity, our dog's chest and stomach remain covered. The back of the coat is held in place with two thin, soft elastic bands and a button. We pass our dog's hind legs through the strips. And we pull the two sides of the top panel under the base of our dog's tail. I especially like that my dog's back is covered as well as his upper front paws. I'm not overly impressed with raincoats they leave open. And yes, the protected hole in the back for my harness attached leash is another plus. Seen by motorists and others at night. In addition, even the two cords used to adjust the tightness around the base and top of the neck, respectively, and the strap reflect light. You can see it in the picture I attach. Even if you ignore the two reflective bands coming off the orange component and one more around the back of the neck, you'll appreciate this coat's excellent visibility. These are parts of a special vest (orange) my dogs wear; It protects the chest, abdomen and genitals from objects on the floor that could cause serious injury. The photo was taken in the forest at 8:19 p.m. when the rain had just stopped. When we got home, all I had to do was clean my dog's shins and tail and dry his head. After 12 years of buying raincoats that didn't entirely satisfy me or even completely let me down, I've found the perfect one. I give this ten stars. You have to imagine the other five not shown above :-))))) Needless to say, I highly recommend this raincoat?
