updated. Tare weight problem solved

I'm updating my review because I found a very simple solution to the problem with scales not holding tare weight. When I first set the scale on the countertop, I applied a little pressure to the pad with my hand just to make sure everything was set correctly. After that I had no more problems and the scale goes back to 0.0 grams every time. -------------------- I wanted a small scale that was accurate to within 0.1 grams to accurately weigh coffee beans. After a few weeks of use I am disappointed. I usually place an empty measuring cup on the scale and press the "T" button to zero it, weigh out the desired number of coffee beans, and then add the beans to the grinder. When I put the empty cup back on the scale it should still read 0.0 grams but instead it usually reads somewhere between 0.6 and 1.1 grams. Weight and adding the beans one at a time it seems frozen at the currently displayed weight and it doesn't change again until it exceeds the weight I'm aiming for. I think it's probably some sort of built-in stabilization to keep the readings from constantly jumping around, but it seems to work too well to be precise.

Pros

Cons
  • I don't remember
