As Lumistick is currently only available in bulk I bought a 10 pack instead. Based on the Revain reviews and other online sources, I assumed they would be at least as bright and durable as the Lumistick. The size of the room (dressing room) is approximately 6ft by 10ft. The walls of the room could hardly be seen. A candle lit in the room gave more light. I left the stick in the room and checked during the day. After only 6 hours it got noticeably dimmer, after about 12 hours I estimate it lost half of its original brightness. After about 16 hours it was completely unusable. It was paid back in full in about 24 - 26 hours. After a similar test with the Lumistick, it was initially bright enough to see an entire room and even read a book. This brightness lasted well over 6 hours and remained very bright even after 12 hours. After about 36 hours the Lumistick got as bright as the Cylaume originally and only went completely dark after 72 or more hours. I bought Lumisticks 4 years ago and just recently started using the newest one. They were often kept in my car during very hot weather (as they were bright enough to replace street flair). Even after 4 years of storage at well above recommended temperatures the Lumistick was at least 2-3 times brighter than the Cylaume.TL;DR - These sticks are complete crap, they are flimsy and wear out quickly. Other brands are much better.
