I just received my buff but I have already used it for cycling (to protect my neck from the sun) and as a face mask when going out (in line with local guidelines due to COVID-19 conditions). . Its light weight allows for enough airflow so it doesn't feel hot or overly restrictive when you're trying to breathe through it for long periods of time. I look forward to using it for other purposes as well (running, hiking, motorcycling, etc.).
