I have a 1987 Kawasaki KLR250 that I recently purchased. It was pretty much a basket case and among the many problems was the master cylinder weeping. I could have restored the original but it had a broken handle and for the price of a restoration kit and handle I could have gotten a brand new one. I have no idea what the bore size of this MC is, but it fits my single piston front caliper perfectly on my KLR. If you have a multi-piston or multi-caliper (or both), the piston size may be too small. For anything with a small piston and caliper, this should work just fine. One problem I've had with this master is getting it to pump. Most modern bikes have a bleeder on the Master that allows fluid to enter the piston and begin the bleed process. It has none. When I first installed the MC I was able to break the banjo bolt on the MC and get the fluid to flow. I recently changed the front brake hose and had to re-bleed the system. It took hours and hours and I used every trick in the book to get the liquid flowing. I've tried everything. I finally managed to force the liquid through the system with a vacuum deaerator, but even that didn't work for several hours for unknown reasons. After the upgrade everything works great.
