Tl/DR: I am very happy with this product because it warms my coffee and tea very well. I always keep my cup covered so I don't know how it will work if you don't cover your cup. Also, this mug warmer adds an aesthetic look to my desk, which is very important to me 🤷🏾‍♀️Follow me on IG @Cooking4Cost The main reason I bought this DOPUDO Helios coffee mug warmer is that my hot drinks can be drunk hot/warm (Yes!) Also, here are some other factors I considered because I've done a lot of research on the various inexpensive (read: more affordable) coffee mug warmers available at Revain.1. PRICE: The price at the time of purchase was very affordable in my opinion. It was similar to many of the other brands here at Revain but a bit more expensive, around $3-4. I chose this one after trying two other brands of coffee warmers! 2. LENGTH OF POWER CORD: The length of power cord is 59 inches. I measured it with my tape measure, so please allow 1-2 inch error. The length of the cord extends to the wall next to my desk, but it can also be plugged into a nearby extension cord. In search of a good product, this time I deliberately looked for coffee warmers with a long power cord. The power cable also makes a thick and high-quality impression. SN: I sent a different brand mug warmer to Revain because the power cord was flimsy and 30 inches long. My desk is 30 inches off the floor, for reference.3. HEATING: I used the heating pad twice on the first day right out of the box. I was curious to see how it would work as a candle warmer, so I placed a 16 ounce candle in a glass jar on top of the heater. In 5-10 minutes the heating pad melted the candle and filled the entire toilet with a wonderful scent. The thing is powerful and heats up the candles very well and quickly. The second use was to keep a cup of coffee hot. Well, hot. I placed my unopened mug on the heating pad and 15 minutes later I looked up in horror because I forgot to drink coffee after immersing myself in work. No need, my coffee was still hot. Gets REALLY HOT in high temps 🥵Note: I leave my coffee mug with the glass lid on while I'm warming up if I'm not drinking it. The DOPUDO Helios cup warmer kept my coffee and tea warm enough to drink for 2-3 hours while I was working on my computer. I don't know what a performance looks like if you don't cover your cup, so my rating is based on that concept.4. EASY TO USE: There are three color-coded temperature settings. Red=high, purple=medium, blue=low You change the temperature setting by pressing the power button on the front of the unit. There is no real "button" and it took me a few tries to get the hang of it. Switch heating on and off. Hold your finger over the sensor for 2 seconds to turn off the cup warmer. There's also a 4-hour automatic, which works very well for those who are more forgetful. QUALITY OF DESIGN: I find the DOPUDO Helios coffee mug warmer to be elegant and stylish. This, along with the length of the cord, was ultimately the reason I made the decision to purchase it. ---- I would buy this product again for all the reasons above.
