I cut off my fingertip while chopping vegetables. I wore the patch while it was healing but it needed extra protection as it was very sensitive if I accidentally bumped it on something. I'm so glad I found her. They are very soft and offer some protection from bumps or water. I was worried it would hurt to put them on but they are very stretchy and I could easily put them on my finger without hurting it. They're not 100 percent waterproof, but they're very close. I wouldn't recommend cutting off your finger, but if you do I would recommend buying them. 😜
