Item arrived a day earlier than it was dispatched. The inverter has a good design and has either a direct battery connection or a cigarette lighter connection. Not only does it have connections for AC power, but for all your computing and phone needs. It has an extra port that was not provided by the cable. It's 12 volts. I like the strong latch on the power cords to keep them from being pulled out. I bought this to use some of my AC powered power tools as I didn't want to spend a small fortune buying cordless tools which after a few years will become obsolete or run out of battery and cost more than this converter.
