I couldn't get in touch with this company to find out how to use the remote which had no instructions. The lights themselves appear to be "good" but the quality of the light stands that come with this set takes LOW quality to a whole new LOW! They are very thin and fell apart when I took them out of the case. I slammed into my office door with one in my hand (note: I banged my hand on the door, not the stud) and the whole bottom part fell off. The base of the light, which attaches to the stand, is also made of rubbery plastic that doesn't feel very secure when tightened. All in all I think I got what I paid for.
