I bought this after removing the original protective case from my Cintiq 13HD (which lasted 5 years before I got tired of the scratches and rainbow effect from daily had use) so the product doesn't have the same texture at all, it's rougher when first applied so takes a bit of getting used to and then wears off so quickly that it becomes a smooth surface within a few weeks. It also smudged my nibs, I had to change them every day after not using them for years when I had the original protective film. now it's a bit too smooth to work with STILL grinding the tip of my pen! It did its job between too rough and too smooth for about two months, so you might be tempted to order it again. Just use your expensive tablet. Unfortunately, without any kind of protective surface, the Cintiq exacerbates my carpal tunnel injury so I can't comfortably use it without a protective sheet and I'm still looking for a suitable one. I wish Wacom would sell the exact same screen protector that comes with the new Centiq!
