This blue phone is so blue it looks black. No matter how hard I try, I can't see blue. I had a previous Panasonic cell connection that was about 10 years old. it is no longer connected to the cell and must be replaced. The size and footprint of this new phone is the same as the old phone. This one feels lighter in my hand and basically doesn't feel as good as the old one. On a positive note, this phone connected to my cell phone very easily. This time there is a pad on the front of the base unit that you can press to communicate. The old device required a code from an instruction manual and a series of steps. The ringtone on this one sounds muffled compared to the old one. I like it when a laptop is connected to a mobile phone. I have three floors and don't feel like lugging a camera up and down with me and I would never use one of those brain tumor kidneys.
