I bought this blanket as a healthier alternative to giving birth to my son. Although he doesn't sleep with us, his bassinet is next to the bed and I knew that sometimes he would cuddle with us on the bed. This duvet is well made and ideal for year-round use. However, it is so difficult! I'm generally satisfied despite the weight as I find it more useful but it drives my husband crazy. If part of it hangs over the edge of the bed, the whole thing will slide down because it's so heavy! Also, my husband refuses to use it, so he always crouches between us in the middle of the bed. It's gotten really annoying.
