So that's a rundown of good news and bad news. Good news: I really liked the look of these shelves. Nice color/grain and really nice and smooth finish. Basically looks very good. Yes, you can see where the pinholes have been filled, but it's minor and barely noticeable from a distance. Bad news: one of the shelves was badly deformed from back to front. Curved, not flat. What annoys me the most is that I didn't notice the problem until I installed both shelves on the wall and started placing items for display. Worse still, these shelves are at eye level and open at the end, so the warping is visible from the side. I decided to live with it just because I had already drilled 6 holes in the wall and reattached it. , Repackaging and reshipping is a big problem. Not to mention patching holes in the wall and finding new shelves. Not recommended unless you need them for service purposes rather than high quality display shelving. I wouldn't recommend them even though I really wanted to like them.
