These shoes arrived yesterday. I wore them to work today. First, they look great with jeans. Those are sharp looking shoes. The first thing I noticed when putting them on, even without socks, is how comfortable they are. Soft and don't need to be broken. My size 9 fits perfectly and as expected. I've walked almost 2 miles in it today and the first steps were as comfortable as the last. The soles feel a bit spongy and have a bit of spring when stepping, but not negatively at all. The heel has a little more padding(?) and feels a bit elevated, but I'm getting used to it. No problem. The grip seems a little different than what I expected, I didn't expect them to hold up on the deck of a boat or on a basketball court but I still wouldn't wear them on any of them. The style is top notch and they appear to be well made. They are light and breathable. I'm debating whether to impose Scottish protections to protect them, or maybe just be careful as I advance. To be determined. I like them a lot and will probably be my everyday shoe for work. For the money you can't go wrong.
