The Auto-Vox guys make great stuff! I have two of their backup cameras (CS-2 on my Ford E250 and W7 on my wife's Subaru Legacy) and I got these for my work/camping trailer. It was wired/installed in about 10 minutes as I didn't install it on my trailer license plate. Actually I installed the camera in the trailer and the solar panel on the roof. My trailer had a different camera (BOSCAM K7 which is also a great option) so I use that camera to see what's going on in my trailer. If we take a trailer with us on a hike, I can see what's going on. in my trailer while we are in the van at night with the amazing night vision feature. I can check if I've left the doors open, if there's noise coming from the trailer that my dog is barking at, or if I've forgotten to turn off the lights and am running out of deep cycle batteries. I just plug the camera into ourjackery lithium battery and turn it on when I want to check something. I could also install this outside of my van when we don't have a trailer and keep an eye on what's going on outside the van. This option is convenient if we want to hear something at night and see who is visiting the camp. The ease of installation of these cameras and the price make them a must have for anyone with a non-factory vehicle. the camera is installed, or who drives a motorcycle. I had a few questions installing my first camera and customer service was very helpful. I have a camera connected to the position lights on my van that allows me to control reverse gear while driving without putting the van in "R". If I need it while reversing, I just turn on the chases to reverse and then turn them off when I put it in the drive. They helped confirm I can wire it up this way and I now have a backup camera as well as a way to check if my bikes or firewood are where they should be.
