I bought this as an investment after much research (I guess) because our family loves to cook. Love everything except the stainless steel handle on the lid which gets HOT if left for about 10 minutes (soup boiling etc.). I would reconsider my purchase if I knew this because it's obviously not safe. It's a good thing we don't cook much that requires the lid to be covered for a long time. Was very disappointed when I first found out about this. I've only had it for a month, can't say more than that.
