I bought these tired ones for ATB, primarily for road riding and the occasional groomed gravel trail in the greater DC area. They have held up well for 6 months. But yesterday I took her on a 50-mile ride down a somewhat rugged "railway trail" in rural West Virginia (Allegheny Highlands Trail). The rear tire didn't work very well. I drove the ride normally, but today I noticed that the rear tire β not the rim, but the tire itself β was deformed in one place. In addition, some threads of the tire fabric are torn and visible here. So I would consider those street tires, not off-road tires. I wouldn't recommend them to riders who need something that handles small rocks and other trail debris well. They don't appear to be made from the highest quality rubber. I just think if a company has "MTB" in the product name, they should better deal with off-road riding - hence the 3 stars.
