It would have been better to buy the right size for my tubeless stem but my LBS was only 44mm. I had enough bite for a small air cartridge, but it would have been too short had I used others, an unfortunate oversight when traveling. These stem extensions are the right length, don't look silly, and work better than extensions when the valve doesn't need to be removed. I used duct tape to make sure I had a good seal and had to reinstall the tires so I could inflate them after installation. So if you want to use them make sure you have a compressor or a good pump or you'll have to go to your LBS.
