Lightweight daily sunscreen with a satin finish but not reef safe or waterproof

Wastewater filter. . The term "reef safe" is unregulated, which is why many sunscreens claim to be reef safe but may not be. This sunscreen says it's reef-safe because it's free of oxybenzone and octinoxate, but those aren't the only ingredients to worry about. Visit the SavetheReefs(dot)org website for a complete list. While I'd like to use more sustainable sunscreens, so far most truly reef-safe sunscreens are mineral-based and leave my skin with a slight white tinge. As such, I still use chemical sunscreens that aren't reef safe from time to time until I find my perfect mineral sunscreen. This sunscreen smells amazing and just like the skin of a sweet kumquat. After applying the sunscreen, it absorbs quickly and leaves a weightless satin finish. Unlike some sunscreens, this doesn't leave my face greasy or oily after a few hours of use. Because it has such a weightless finish, I love using this sunscreen as a base for my makeup, unlike some others that add too much shine. The packaging says to use waterproof sunscreen when swimming or sweating, so I'm guessing it's not waterproof. So it's better for daily sun protection when you don't want to be in the water or when it's too hot outside and I sweat a lot. While I love the smell and how it feels on my skin, I don't like that they added Yellow 5 and Red 40 to this sunscreen. I prefer the natural color rather than trying to make it more lemony to match the smell.
