I bought these to use with my single serve coffee maker which can use either K-cups or coffee grounds. I originally started looking for these types of bottles for their spout caps as I wanted to find something that would make it easier to pour water into the small spaces that small coffee makers offer and this item looked good for that purpose. The seller's helpful instructions on how to open the cap of the bottle were very helpful and much appreciated, as was the fact that the seller took the time to answer customer questions asked on the website. So I had no problems with the bottle and the coffee surprisingly stayed hot longer than other bottles I've tried. Considering that these types of coffee makers don't really get the coffee hot, I wasn't expecting it to stay hot for around 12 hours. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee was still warm enough to drink even after seven hours. Of course it got a little cold, but you could still tell you had a warm drink. I also liked and prefer this type of lid with a spout in the middle to drink from. It just seems a little easier to drink and less likely to burn/damage someone's lip from drinking hot liquids. Both of my budget coffee makers hold 14 oz, but unfortunately I couldn't find a 14 oz. One of these, and as expected at 16 and 17 ounces, was too big to fit on the smaller machines I have, so I might keep it and only use it for cold drinks. However, the 10 ounce model works great with my coffee makers. I will not hesitate to buy this item again.
