Review on πŸ’¨ XPOWER A-5 Mini Powered Air Duster Vacuum - Multifunctional & Sleek Black Finish by Jairo Cunha

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Choice Computers & Accessories

I needed a vacuum that wasn't as heavy and clunky as my old Eureka EasyClean Handheld 71B that I bought from Revain almost ten years ago. It is "light" but still quite cumbersome to use and the long cable was annoying. Some of you may like it, but I don't. I'm also tired of buying compressed air canisters. My friend recommended the XPower A-2 Airrow, but I also wanted something small and compact that could vacuum small spaces. That's when I found this A-5 model. The A-5 is essentially the A-2, but with suction power and more power. In direct response to feedback on the August 2018 instructions, I had little trouble interpreting them. I knew this thing had a fan mode by default and that if you wanted to put it in vacuum mode you had to follow the "vacuum mode". It took 5 minutes max to figure out, to set up this mode you have to pull out the foam filter and the tiny cross in the center (comes off instantly, no unscrewing/unscrewing required). The vacuum is powerful - it picks up things the old Eureka can't and is perfect for cleaning the nooks and crannies of your big upright vacuum or even things a handheld vacuum with its attachments can't reach. Its sheer portability is the best part. I personally love that the cord is 5ft long - I hate using long cords as I will still be close to the power source when using it in my car. Comes with many nozzles and the hose size is suitable for short jobs. The key here is to think of it as a handheld vacuum with a hose attachment, rather than a traditional giant vacuum with a 15-foot hose, as another review lamented. The CFM output thing is crazy. It was spinning the fans in my case like crazy and it was like a hurricane blasting through my case and throwing all these balls of dust around. The vacuum has enough suction power to pick up small parts and bits that a handheld vacuum would miss. And yes, this thing is bloody noisy and when it first starts up it will have a weird smell (it might take 1 or 2 seconds before it dissipates). Comes with a stylish zipped nylon pouch to store all your hose attachments and a large pocket on the back when not in use. I'm very glad I have it, I'll never have to buy a can of compressed air again.
