You'd think it would be great to have a cutter and a kerf in one tool. However, the cutting lines really get in the way when you need an accurate cut. Instead of notches at the base of my trimmer, I'd rather have measurements. Measurements do not extend to the top of the trimmer. Therefore, it is difficult to ensure that your paper is placed accurately. I bought this trimmer to make small cuts (less than 2 inches). Less than an inch is almost impossible. I love artisanal products but this just didn't suit my needs.
