Review on Pebblebee Finder Finder Rechargeable Range Multi by Drew Diaz

So I ordered a couple of these trackers from the official store through Revain. Both arrived unsealed and in undeniably used condition. There were marks from where it was on the key ring and lots of scuffs. It cannot be a new product. Renovated I assume? Not good. You must think it's not worth returning. The design is great and USB-C charging is a big plus. I tested the Tile Pro and Tile Mate and they outperformed them in terms of range and reliability. Where the phone makes the tracker ring, it works every time. When you press a button on the tracker to find the phone, it works 1 out of 10 times. But it finally works and I think it's probably the best android tracker after trying a lot. The hardware is excellent and solid, but both devices have the font and rear segment glued unevenly, giving the flashy hardware design a sloppy look. Pebblebee sold me a product that finds my keys within 500 feet. When you install an app, it will refuse to connect or work with the tracker unless you give the app permission to access your phone's location and continuously send GPS location data to Pebblebee in the background, even when the app is closed is. If you don't, the app will refuse to work or connect to the tracker. So they sold you a product that provides a service and then refused to provide the service unless you agree to permanently upload your *phone* GPS location to their servers. Where you live, where you work, what stores you go to, whose house you go to, what protests you can attend when you're not home - Pebblebee needs all this data and they don't ask, they're holding you hostage the product and asking for a lot of sensitive information (which I wouldn't give to my closest friends), probably with the intention of selling it to the highest bidder. This is an extremely shady and sneaky tactic and I will never buy from this company again. In addition, they have a subscription service. The GPS data from your phone that forced you to send to their servers to use the product you bought? - they want to sell you back access to that location history! The boldness of this proposal leaves me speechless. This kind of product policy is causing people to abandon Android for iOS.
