Reloading may or may not work for you, try a few times.

After several loading attempts it finally seemed to work and the pellets inside became lighter again. It still takes a while to charge and it still gets hotter than we'd like, but it might work. If you're having problems like me, try reloading it a few times and letting it rest between recharges. ***Original Review Technically, this product has absorbed water from the air, but only once. I plugged it in to try and update and after 2 days it still didn't work. But very warm, uncomfortable. I could barely hold it in my hand when I unplugged it, which is not a good sign. I know it needs to heat up to charge, but it was very hot. I checked it with a laser thermometer about 15 minutes after unplugging it and it was 135F meaning it was a lot hotter 15 minutes earlier. I think at least 150F if not more. Be very careful when handling this device. The beads discolored somewhat, but most of the viewing window remained black even after 2 days of plugging. It doesn't look like a good device. I'm really concerned about the amount of heat generated and the fact that it needs to be plugged in 24/7 for 3+ days to fully charge. This is the anticipation of a fire in the house. Looks like I wasted my money on this.
