Review on πŸ”Œ Pyle 8 Gauge Clear Red Power Wire - 25ft. Copper Cable: Ideal for Audio Stereo Amplifier, Surround Sound System, TV Home Theater, and Car Stereo - Pyramid RPR825 by Will Lockhart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Every bit is as good as any speaker wire costing tens of thousands of dollars.

Don't waste your money on "high-end” audiophile speaker cables. The "engineers" who design "high-end" cables have neither physical nor technical training. For example, they sell hollow or corded cables designed to "correct" the skin effect at high frequencies. The skin effect attenuates the audio signal by 0.01 decibels at 20 kHz compared to the lowest frequency you can hear for two 5-foot lengths of this 8-gauge cable, which is placed in series with a 4-ohm planar magnetic driver is switched. Pure long-grain copper does not emulate small diodes that must overcome threshold voltages, and the insulator does not store static electricity that can inject microvolts into speaker wire. Buy a cable thick enough to easily plug into banana plugs, and cables that cost hundreds or even thousands are no better. See the attached photos for speaker cables. The ruby red clear insulation is much prettier and not overpowering in snake oil I find.
