Works as it should and great quality for the price

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this wire compared to other more expensive versions. It's definitely more bang for your buck. I've been using this cable for my car radio for 5 months and haven't had any problems.

This is the WORST power cord EVER bought

This is the WORST power cord EVER bought. They claim it's 8 gauge, but it's actually 12 gauge! It's all shielding and almost no copper wiring. It is made of stranded wire so thin that cutting the cable shield will almost certainly cut the wire, further reducing the cross-section. AGAIN THIS IS NOT THE 8AU CABLE! Don't get ripped off.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Slightly torn

False advertising - does not match description

The item described is for 8 AWG stranded oxygen free copper (OFC) wire but after installing it in my car I put a larger one Voltage drop fixed than expected. Upon closer inspection I found that the cable was actually 10-AWG CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) which just doesn't match my car audio system. This product uses cheaper CCA material and smaller wire size.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

NOT gauge 8! for amplifier installation

flexible. Looks like decent wire, it's copper, but when I used my small wire strippers, which are sized to match the size of wire I'm stripping, I had to use a 12 AWG slot. 12. August? I bought the 8 gauge, BIG difference between the 2 gauge. Had to take my Tahoe apart to run a truly new cable, I went with 4 gauge to ensure I was protected from future upgrades. Not happy with the BS indicator saying it is 8 AWG wire.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • negative pressure

False advertising of car accessories

First of all, this product is advertised as oxygen-free copper. It's actually copper-aluminum (junk for many uses). Second, this wire is smaller than the 10AWG speaker wire I have, not even the advertised size. And third, as many others have pointed out, the insulation is much thicker than the conductor itself. DO NOT purchase this product if you expect it to be as advertised; No, that is not so.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • The list will be long.

THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT! IT SERVES NO PURPOSE!

IT'S NOT EVEN WIRE #12, IT'S PURE WASTE. DON'T EVEN THINK IT'S COPPER! I don't understand what this garbage can be used for. INSULATION THICK THICK WIRE! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. THIS IS AN AMAZONIAN FAILURE WITH ALL THE BAD REVIEWS THEY STILL SELLING THIS CRASH. I ORDERED WIRE #8, THIS IS NOT WIRE #8, IT IS A SCAM! I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND IT MUST BE LABELED CORRECTLY. WHAT GARBAGE!

There is no hate here. That's a decent cable.

This cable has a lot of haters in regards to the caliber of the actual cable. As far as I can tell, the cable itself is 8 gauge, or at least very close. I think the catch is that other higher quality cables are often thicker than advertised to stand out from the rest. This cable only meets the minimum specification for the caliber, so it may be smaller than others. For me it serves the purpose, has a good look and looks very high quality. The cable has a lot of strands and is therefore quite…

Pros
  • All our products are specially designed for professionals.
Cons
  • So far so good

Read the reviews and make up your own mind. I needed 8 gauge wire for a few amps to put in my boat. The wire is ok but I have to agree with others that it's not the best quality. Common use of my wire stripper resulted in the coating being stripped along with 50% of the wire. The strands are so thin that they come off like hair. I found that I had to carefully use a razor blade to remove the outer coating so as not to cut the strands of wire. Even twisting the wire will cause some of the…

Pros
  • Convenient style and design

Don't waste your money on "high-end” audiophile speaker cables. The "engineers" who design "high-end" cables have neither physical nor technical training. For example, they sell hollow or corded cables designed to "correct" the skin effect at high frequencies. The skin effect attenuates the audio signal by 0.01 decibels at 20 kHz compared to the lowest frequency you can hear for two 5-foot lengths of this 8-gauge cable, which is placed in series with a 4-ohm planar magnetic driver is switched…
